The Student Fees division has expanded over the years in terms of service delivery as well as personnel. The increased number of personnel has therefore led to a severe shortage of seating with new staff members having to occupy spaces away from the division. To accommodate the growing need of spaces required the division would therefore like to utilize the available space more optimally by use of open plan offices.

Our brief stated that these open plan offices be set up in such a manner to serve more members of the public and doing so more efficiently and effectively.

The optimisation of Room 2042 was of utmost importance to improve service delivery, staff morale and the office environment.
